Merriest Greetings to you, Mindy!
I’m
snow excited you stopped by planDisney with your question.
Mindy, you’ll be arriving during the most wonderful time of the yEAR!
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are absolutely magical and the merry celebrations continue until December 30, 2020! I do hope you visit my favorite Park, EPCOT, and try all the delectable delights at the Holiday Kitchens around the World Showcase at
Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!
Mindy, I went ahead and contacted a magical Cast Member at Existing Tickets for you and was told you would need to purchase a base ticket for the time before the Park Hopper option is eligible. You would then make a second purchase with the Park Hopper option beginning January 1, 2021. It would be two separate purchases, but since
Theme Park Tickets for 2020 are not Park Hopper Option eligible, your best option may be to do it that way. If you have already made your purchase, I would encourage you to
call Existing Tickets so a Cast Member can look at your account and give you the best possible solutions. They may be able to cancel the current tickets and apply the value of your current tickets towards the new ticket starting January 1st next year, but again, that depends on certain things, so most certainly go ahead and give them a call at (407) 566-4985 and a Cast Member will be happy to take a look at that for you.
I am elated that the Park Hopper option is coming back on January 1, 2021! It is a modified version, and a
Disney Park Pass reservation is still needed for the first Theme Park of your choice, along with entering said Park and the eligibility to park hop begins at 2 p.m. You can read all about it in
this Disney Parks Blog article!
Mindy, I hope you have the most enchanting vacation!
