We are coming for 14 days & are purchasing a 10 day pass. Are passes still good for a longer time than the actual number of days? We used to buy a 7 day pass & have 10+/- days to use it, so we could have a day off after 3 days in the parks.

    Hi Tracy,

Two full weeks at The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds absolutely WONDERFUL! I'm so happy for you, and just know you're going to enjoy much fun, relaxation, and magic during your visit!

The great news is that yes, you will have 14 days to enjoy your 10-day theme park tickets, so you'll be able to spread out your theme park days a bit. My family loves taking a break or two during our vacation to sleep in, enjoy all of the incredible amenities at our Disney Resort hotel, and explore all of the fantastic shopping and dining at Disney Springs. We're usually in the parks from the moment they open until after they close, and we've learned through the years that overly tired Mouseketeers (of any age!) aren't very magical. Those down days are still packed with magic and fun, but it's a different kind of enjoyment and it's at a much slower pace.

As you're planning your visit, don't forget to make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as your theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account! You can always change them once park hours are released for your travel dates (pending availability, of course), but it's nice to know that you have spots guaranteed in the parks!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Tracy, and please feel free to come back and see us again if we can help with anything else during your planning process. I hope you have a truly magical vacation this fall!
