We are coming in 18 days and I was curious about whether it is better to avoid parks with Extra Magic Hours. I have heard that it is a great benefit and also that the parks are busier. What is your opinion. Thank you. I read the Mom's Panel everyday.

Hey Jenny!  What a great question, and I too have had it work to my advantage and also to my disadvantage.  But okay majority rules and more times it has worked in my favor than not when it comes to the EMH's.
Early EMH's are great if you get there right when they start.  Many people, I have found, do not get to the parks until a little before lunch time, even with the EMH's.  So I am a strong advocate for grabbing those morning hours.
The night time EMH's are were I have seen it go from being really crowded to running through the lines and getting on the attractions.  So my advice on the evening hours, why not try it and if it's just too crowded and it does not seem worth it, call it a night and go back and enjoy your WDW resort.
Thanks so much for coming to the Mom's Panel and I hope you have the most magical vacation ... in less than a week!
