Hi there, Anessa! Thanks so much for sailing by planDisney with your question.
Disembarkation day always comes with the post-cruise blues, but spending a day at EPCOT before your late night flight sounds like the perfect way to keep the magic going. If you happen to have a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel that evening, you can absolutely leave your luggage with Bell Services at no charge. However, if you’re not a registered Guest, Bell Services won’t be able to store your bags for the day.
The good news is that
EPCOT offers
lockers near the main entrance, and these can be a great option. The Jumbo lockers, available at both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, measure 17” x 22” x 26”and are typically big enough to hold a carry-on suitcase. They’re first-come, first-served and can fill up quickly, so arriving early is your best bet. I’d also suggest measuring your luggage ahead of time to be sure it will fit.
Just keep in mind that you’ll need to bring your suitcase through security, and it must comply with Disney’s bag rules.
Disney doesn’t permit bags larger than 24” x 15” x 18” inside the theme parks. That said, if your bag(s) are slightly larger than those dimensions, you can explain it’s going directly to a locker. However, it’s always at the discretion of the security Cast Member on duty.
Also, your visit falls during Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, so the parks may feel a bit busier late morning into the afternoon. It shouldn’t affect locker availability too much, especially since most of those Guests are staying on property, but it’s good to be aware. Another option to consider is renting a car from the port when you disembark. It gives you a secure place to store your luggage for the day, plus an easy way to get to the airport later that night.
I hope this gives you a couple of options to consider, Anessa. Have a magical trip!
See ya real soon,
Eean
