I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up so soon, and I can only imagine how excited you must be as you count down the days. To make your trip even more special, you'll be staying at the
Grand Floridian Resort...such a wonderful choice! I had the pleasure of staying there with my family last fall, and it never disappoints. From the elegant Victorian theming to the peaceful, resort-wide atmosphere, it feels magical from the moment you arrive.
One of the newer additions is
The Perch, located in the lobby. It's such a lovely place to slow down and unwind, especially when the pianist is playing. I hope you'll have time to check it out.
The
rooms at Grand Floridian are some of my favorites. I absolutely love the elegant, refined theming throughout. Your room will have a TV, a beverage cooler, and a bathtub and shower combination.
If you're hoping for a more low-key way to end the evening, you can watch the
Happily Ever After fireworks from the area just outside
Gasparilla Island Grill near the marina. This spot is a hidden gem! The music is even piped in, which makes it feel extra special.
Did you know the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be happening during your visit? It's really perfect for all ages. There's so much to enjoy, from the stunning topiaries and colorful gardens to the Outdoor Kitchens and live music. One of my favorite activities for families is the festival scavenger hunt. It's a fun way to explore World Showcase together while adding a little extra fun to your day.
