Hi, coming to Bay Lakes on Saturday- what movies under the stars are playing for the week - Saturday 14th to Friday?

Welcome Home, Ann Marie! By the time you read this, you'll be checked in to my favorite place in the "World," Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I love that magical Green Clover and Aloe scent that wafts through the lobby!

The Movies Under the Stars are available for free to all Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests and are a great way to cap off a day at the Parks.  The movies are shown at 8:30 PM on the lawn underneath the Sky Way Bridge, and often, there's a Campfire & S'mores preceding it at 7:00 PM. Once you've arrived, the easiest way to get the Movies Under the Stars schedule is to ask for a copy of the September Recreation Calendar at the front desk.  However, I was able to reach out to Bay Lake Tower's Guest Services, and she provided me with the following schedule:

Sunday, September 15: The Princess Diaries
    Tuesday, September 17: Peter Pan
Thursday, September 19: High School Musical

The recreation schedule also contains some fun activities such as Corn Hole Tournaments, Lakeside Yoga, and Painting with a View. My kiddos love the pool-side activities at the Mickey-shaped Bay Cove Pool with its 20-foot-tall slide (I've been known to soak my weary legs in the whirlpool spa, too). Sometimes, there's so much to do at the resort, it's hard to leave!

While you're there this week, Ann Marie, make some time one evening to head to the Top of the World Lounge. This is my favorite spot to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks with a Monorail Yellow drink in hand!

I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
