    We are coming back in June of 2015 and I can't decide between going back to the garden wing of the Contemporary or trying the Polynesian. I've heard that if you are not in close longhouse the walk is LONG to monorail and pool. Help!

    Hi Amy,

    My family has stayed at both Disney's Bay Lake Tower Resorts at the Contemporary Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. While both are great, we would easily take Disney's Polynesian Village Resort over the Contemporary. We just love the feel of the Polynesian Village Resort. Plus watching the fireworks for Magic Kingdom is the best on this beach.

    We have stayed in the Niue and the Rapa Nui Longhouses. We loved both for different reasons. The Niue is close to the Great Ceremonial House where dining and one monorail stop are located as well as the main pool. Rapa Nui is closer to Disney's Ticket and Transportation Center which was great because it was quicker to board the monorail here for Magic Kingdom but it also meant no transfer for Epcot.

    When you are completing your online check-in, you can request buildings and other amenities. Disney generally honors these requests when they can. 

    I would give Disney's Polynesian Village Resort stay!
