We are coming back to Disney! This time off property and we have a reservation for breakfast at 'Ohana. Can we ride the monorail from magic kingdom to the polynesian and back on our park day? We are not staying at the polynesian this time.

    Hi there, Jude!

Welcome to planDisney! It looks like your unforgettable return to Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner. You must be so excited! Have you packed yet, or will you throw things in a bag as you head out the door? In my house, we have travelers of both types. The wingers are definitely grateful for the planners. It keeps things exciting.

Yes, you should feel free to hop aboard the Disney Monorail to zoom over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for your delicious breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. Once you have enjoyed all you care to eat, I'd recommend that you peruse the unique shops at this tropical Resort hotel before heading out to explore all that Magic Kingdom Park has in store for you.

If the timing works out better for you, consider parking at Magic Kingdom Park for the day and boarding the Disney Monorail Resort Loop straight from the Transportation & Ticket Center rather than taking the Express Monorail to Magic Kingdom Park. This one-stop journey will bring you to the resort hotel for your 'Ohana breakfast experience.

One of the things that we love to do on a theme-park-free day is ride all of the exciting forms of transportation at Walt Disney World Resort! In fact, my planDisney pal Sue has created a bit of a game out of attempting it all in one day. We like to ride the Disney Monorail, the Disney Skyliner, and at least one form of water transportation for the day. Try it! It's so fun!

One last quick tip, Jude: While you are checking out the latest merchandise at BouTiki, pick up a pack of the Honolulu Cookie Company Shortbread Cookies. I should warn you if you have not tried these before, they can be very hard to share. They are just too delicious! They have become one of my favorite Disney treats, and I think you might just love them as well. Just try to save room after all of those incredible Mickey-shaped waffles at 'Ohana!

Come on back and visit us with any other questions as you plan your grand return! We'd love to help!

    Adventure is out there,

    Sally
