Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Coming in Aug for our 1st time. DH,DD5,DS7 and got the PLUS DP. for this to make sense we might need to pay for 1meal, maybe a sit down bkfst and use our table credit for more expensive places. What rest. (table) are "a most" for our 1st time? st

    You are right to remember that even with the dining plan, you need to budget for more dining. Many overlook this, and come home with a bigger credit card bill than originally planned.

    There are a to of great restaurants throughout Walt Disney World. It is impossible to list them all, so I will recommend a few park and resort favorites. I put in parentheses afterwards what meals I prefer, though they may be open for more.  Here they are;

    In the Parks

    • Magic Kingdom: Cinderella's Royal Table (breakfast or lunch)
    • Epcot: Biergarten (dinner)
    • Epcot: Akershus (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)
    • Hollywood Studios: 50's Prime Time Cafe (lunch)
    • Animal Kingdom: Donald's Safari Breakfast (breakfast)
    • Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ (lunch)
    Resorts
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge (dinner)
    • Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge (breakfast or dinner)
    • California Grill at Contemporary (dinner)
    • Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness (dinner)
    • Chef Mickey's at Contemporary (breakfast or dinner)
    • 'Ohana at Polynesian (dinner)
    • Spirit of Aloha show at Polynesian (dinner)
