We are coming on April 21 staying at All Star Music resort for two reasons my grandsons band is playing in one of the parades and we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary can you recommend a special place for anniversary dinner

    Catherine,

Congratulations on your anniversary, what a wonderful milestone!

There are so many great choices for a memorable celebration, but every family is different. Let me offer you some of my favorites, and you can start by considering these.

California Grill - This is my top choice, and it is found at the top of Disney's Contemporary Resort. The California modern cuisine and sushi are all exceptional, and the views rise to the occasion. In the evening you get a birds-eye perch overlooking the Magic Kingdom Park, including a not-to-be-missed viewing of the fireworks show. They actually pipe in the soundtrack from the park.

Victoria & Albert's - The Walt Disney World resort's most elegant restaurant, it is an experience that you find at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It is the height of fine dining and has won the AAA Five Diamond Award consecutively for over a decade. The best way to experience it, if your budget and party size allow it, is to enjoy their Chef's Table Dinner.

Citricos - Also found at the Grand Floridian Resort, the modern elegance is the setting for a menu that has a good variety of choices.

Jiko - The Cooking Place - This Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge restaurant is a more exotic choice, with an amazing South African wine list and entrees that combine international flavors in modern inspired plates.

Monsieur Paul - Located in the France pavilion within EPCOT, their French haute cuisine menu is served in a serene dining room that you cannot believe is feet away from a busy theme park. It is my top in-park recommendation.

These are my starting suggestions, but there are many more choices. If you write me back with more about what you might want in that special occasion, like cuisine, party size, and anything else relevant, I can offer more focused ideas.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
