Hi Charlotte!
Welcome to planDisney.
It is always a pleasure to answer questions from a fellow UK guest!
At this time it is no longer possible for International guests to pre-order Disney Bands for delivery to your Disney Resort hotel, or your home address. I understand this might be frustrating and I know you want to get organised before your trip, just like I always do.
There are some ways around this, so let's talk it through.
Most Disney Resort hotel gift shops stock a supply of Disney Bands for sale. If you want to choose your Disney Band on Day 1, take a look, and purchase any designs that you like, stop by the Front Desk of your hotel and they will link your bands straight away and you'll be good to go.
However, what I usually do is purchase my Disney Bands from
ShopDisney.com, to have them delivered to my Disney Resort Hotel before your arrival. They have a good selection which is often re-stocked. If you place an order, please ensure you enter the delivery address as "Your Name" + "GUEST arriving" - insert your arrival date - then add the name and address of your Disney hotel, which can be found on the Overview page of your hotel on the
website. On arrival, advise the Cast Member that you should have a package waiting for you. Then you can have your Disney Bands linked to your account. I like to place my order around 10 days before I arrive to ensure the package is delivered in good time. It should be noted that you will be charged a Resort fee of around $6.00 (subject to change) for any package received for you by the Front Desk.
If you'd rather take your time and browse a few stores with a larger selection, several places sell Disney Bands - Disney Springs (D-Tech on Demand, and
World of Disney), and in the theme parks - the Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park, Creations Shop at EPCOT, and Mickeys of Hollywood at Disney's Hollywood Studios have a good selection, for example. Before you make your purchase you can request
Key to the World admission cards from the front desk - free of charge - which you can use to access your hotel room, make charges to your room and use for park admission. Alternatively, you can access Disney MagicMobile pass which is available on the My Disney Experience app.
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions - you can even
send me a direct question if you wish. We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday at Walt Disney World!
