We are coming in April, we have a dining plan we are using for lunch/dinner. Can we eat breakfast at our resort? Do we need reservations for that as well? And what kind of snacks are included? Thanks, Kristin

Hey, Kristin! How great to find your question on the panel today! We are glad you have stopped by.

No trip ever happens without us adding the dining plan to our package. My youngest son loves choosing his food on his own, walking up to the counter and tapping his MagicBand to pay for his meal; he says it makes him feel like a grown-up! He loves that now we get to see how many credits we have left on the My Disney Experience app; it's so convenient!

You can certainly eat breakfast at your Disney resort. If you would like to eat at a quick service location, you will most likely not need a reservation; however, if you are hoping to have a sit-down breakfast at a table-service location, you will have to make a reservation.

What I normally do is use one of my snack credits for breakfast since my drink is already taken care of (courtesy of my refillable mug) and I perhaps add something extra such as a fruit cup. Snacks you can order for breakfast include whole fruits (apples and bananas usually) or baked goods such as croissants, muffins, brownies, cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, donuts, etc. My favorite breakfast snack is the heavenly beignet with dipping sauce, available at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory – in Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. Popcorn, soft drinks, bottled water, frozen ice cream cups, popsicles, fruit bars, hot chocolate/tea, milk and juice in a bottle/carton, snack bags, they all qualify as snacks on the dining plan.

Kristin, I know you will love the dining plan as much as I do, and will never ever go without it in your future vacations at Walt Disney World. We hope to see you again on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please do not hesitate to stop by again as many times as you need to! We love to help!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
