    We are coming to AOA on 9/28 and the discount starts on 9/29. Was told that I would need to make two reservations, to get discount and wilh have to check out and in on 2nd day. Do I have to pack up and change rooms or would I be able to stay in same room

    Hi, Joanna!  The information you received is correct.  In order to receive a promotional discount that begins the day after you check in, you will have to have two separate reservations.  

    In the majority of cases, you will not have to pack up and move to another room.  When you check in, make sure your reservations are linked, so they can see that you have two different reservations.  You will have to go through the technicality of checking out and then back in, but in my experience, it is rare that you would have to leave the room you were assigned when you checked in on the day you originally arrived.
