    We are combining WDW and a curise on the Dream in August. I am currently planning our dining while at WDW and trying not to overlap our character encounters. Any suggestions of unique encounters at WDW that we will not have during the curise.

    Ahoy Katie Jo and welcome to the Moms Panel!
    A land and sea Disney vacation sounds absolutely perfect!  There are some fantastic character experiences onboard the Disney Dream, but there are some characters that are not usually on the ship that you will be able to find at Walt Disney World.  Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet are not a part of Captain Mickey's crew so I definitely recommend a Crystal Palace character meal at the Magic Kingdom or a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.  If you enjoy the Playhouse Disney Stars, you can find them at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  The only time I have seen Mary Poppins onboard is when she is part of one of the nightly shows in the Walt Disney Theatre so again a breakfast at 1900 Park Fare may be something you might enjoy.  There will be plenty of chances to meet the princesses during individual "meet & greets" and during their Royal Gathering, but Disney Cruise Line does not offer a Princess dining experience on the Dream.  When my princess was younger she loved the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall character meal since she was able to see Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, and Cinderella while we dined.
