Hi Justine! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!
Some of my panelist friends and I were just recently having a discussion about using Disney Gift Cards and eGift Cards. Like you, I like to stock up on Disney Gift Cards to use when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Combining Disney Gift Card balances is super easy! You'll need to visit
disneygiftcard.com and sign in. You can use the same login information for any other Disney account you may have created, including
My Disney Experience. You can enter the numbers found on the card or ecard to manage your cards on the Disney Gift Card website, up to six cards at a time. You can easily transfer balances from one card to another -- although you can only transfer the entire remaining balance to another card. You'll even be able to view a transaction history of all purchases made with your cards.
I like to keep one physical Disney Gift Card and add one eGift Card to my phone's mobile wallet. Most merchandise and quick-service dining locations will be able to scan the bar code of your eGift card. I find it is easier to use a physical gift card when dining at table service locations, as some do not have the ability to scan your card. You can still use your eGift Card if you prefer, but your server will likely need to enter the numbers manually.
For a convenient way to use a Disney Gift Card as a payment method when placing
Mobile Food & Beverage Orders, keep the ID numbers of your card as a note on your phone. That way you can just copy and paste instead of typing in the numbers each time you place an order.
I hope that helps! Please stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have. We are always happy to help. Have a wonderful vacation during
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
