Jambo, Yvonne, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! As I search the horizon, I think I spy you on the savannah, so welcome to
Walt Disney World Resort. I hope your trip is off to a "wild" start, so let's look at ways you can magically travel between theme parks.
Good news! You can easily hop aboard a
complimentary Disney bus at the
EPCOT bus depot for an effortless ride directly to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Follow the signs or ask a friendly Cast Member for guidance, but bus stops are typically listed on a large sign as you exit Animal Kingdom and head toward the trams and parking lot. Look for the Animal Kingdom listing, and you should see the loading station number. Buses usually arrive about every 20 minutes, so you can relax and get your safari gear ready!
If I have to be somewhere at a specific time, such as for a dining reservation, my husband and I head to the designated ride-share area to request a ride. These areas are also located just outside each park entrance. The one for Animal Kingdom is to your left after you exit the park. This option isn't free, but it's typically a bit quicker than the bus.
And if you're in the mood to feel extra pixie-dusted, you can use the Lyft app to request a festive
Minnie Van. These red and while polka-dotted vehicles are a bit of a splurge, but Disney brings out the princess in me sometimes!
Yvonne, I hope you check out the new
Zootopia: Better Zoogether attraction while you're at Animal Kingdom. The queue is one of my favorites because you get an up-close view of the magnificent carvings on the Tree of Life. As Gazelle sings, "Try everything!"
Thanks again for choosing
planDisney to help with your visit, Yvonne! Please come back anytime, and have a wonderful vacation.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
