I have been collecting Disney Gift Cards throughout the year. I am wondering if the gift cards can be used to pay off expenses that have been billed to the room using the magic band. Or if I would need to use the cards when I make the purchases.

Hi, Ambria! I love purchasing Disney gift cards throughout the year to use on vacation, too! When there's a little extra cash on hand, it's an easy, painless way to set aside vacation money.  Yes, you certainly can use the Disney gift cards you have purchased to pay for any room charges that you made with your MagicBand. I like this so much better than carrying the individual gift cards around with us. All you need to do is visit the Guest Services at your Resort and have them apply the gift cards toward your balance. It doesn't take long, and the Cast Members are always so happy to help. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
