Does the coffee maker in the rooms at the Contemporary Resort use KCups, pods, or filters?

    Hello Sandra!

I perked up when I read your question, because my day doesn't really begin until I've had my morning cup of coffee, so I'm quite familiar with the coffee makers at the Disney Resort hotels.

You will have a coffee maker included as a standard amenity in your room at Disney's Contemporary Resort (hooray!).   It's a Cuisinart brand that brews 2 mugs of coffee at once and uses a soft "pod" system, rather than K-Cups or traditional coffee filter system.  The pods are round and flat and look somewhat like tea bags.  If you're interested in purchasing some to take along with you for your stay, you can find a selection by doing a quick Internet search, but your room will come stocked with a nice selection of Joffrey's brand coffee pods (regular and decaffeinated), plus sugar and creamer.   If you run out, just call "mousekeeping" to request more at no charge.  The Contemporary also has fantastic 24-hour, in-room dining, so you could also treat yourself to fresh coffee delivered to your room anytime you need a quick java fix.

Wishing you a most magical vacation, Sandra!  Please write back if we can help answer any other questions as you put the final pixie dust on your plans.
