Hi all!Staying@Beach Club this time around. Is it true not all rooms have balconies/patios?Booked a garden view rm.We like the balcony so we have somewhere to sit, chat, plan after kids are asleep!Should I request this during online ck-in or call?

    Hi Diana!

While I am an absolute fan of Disney's Beach Club as well as Stormalong Bay, there is a difference in the balconies available for guests.  There are the shorter, balcony type (also known as Juliet balconies), where there is only a small step out and a railing/balustrade.  These are found throughout the resort.  Ground floor guests are able to take advantage of walk out patios, and other guests have traditional walk out balconies.  If having a full balcony is of great importance, I would call Disney Resort reservations and have it noted on your reservation.  I would also try to request it during online check in, however the options are limited when it comes to requests, so I would make sure to follow it up with a phone call to reservations.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
