Greetings Bridget!
I’m delighted to welcome you to planDisney. Thank you for bringing your excellent question to us.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa certainly lives up to its name. This gorgeous property never ceases to take my breath away, and no matter how often I stay there, it never feels enough. From the moment you step into the warmly illuminated and welcoming lobby, you begin to feel lighter as your worries start to fade. The lobby’s heavenly scent envelopes you as you’re greeted by smiling Cast Members. It truly is grand!
Bridget, I’m glad you asked about the Club Level rooms! Currently, with the newly renovated rooms, there is one Club Level lounge available to Guests. Although all the rooms in the main building of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are Club Level rooms, there are one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites available in the outer buildings that give Guests Club Level access. Since you’d like to stay in the main building, you’ll want to book the room that states “Club Level” next to the
room or suite title, not the one with “Club Level Access” next to it.
Named the Royal Palm Club, it is my favorite of the Club Level offerings at Walt Disney World Resort. This is because it’s spacious, with room for my Mouseketeers to get their wiggles out while we lounge about, plenty of seating, and the newly refurbished lounge is simply stunning. Guests are invited to enjoy the small bites and refreshments, with Grand Beginnings in the mornings, hors d’oeuvres in the evenings, and cordials and desserts at night. And I’m so excited for you to experience the newly refurbished rooms; it feels like you’re part of a fairytale! I squeal every time I find a new subtle nod to Mary Poppins!
During some trips, we don't even feel the need to leave the Resort hotel; however, should you feel like taking a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., you have a few options to get there! You can get to
Magic Kingdom Park by taking the
Disney Monorail Transportation or the Disney Watercraft Transportation or by walking!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Bridget!
