what is the closest resort for hollywood studio? we are planning to go on March 16 to18

    Hi Iris,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. We are so happy you are here.

Well, I absolutely love this question because it sounds to me like you are planning an exciting vacation with plenty of time at Disney's Hollywood Studios! You are likely going to meet some of your favorite Star Wars Characters as you explore Black Spire Outpost, race around Andy's Backyard, ride in a haunted elevator, and go on an adventure on a runaway railway. I'm excited for you.

There are a couple of ways that I could answer this question, depending on your preferred mode of transportation.

The closest Walt Disney World Resort hotels to Disney's Hollywood Studios if you plan to walk would be Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Villas, and Disney's Yacht Club Resort are also very close. Anticipate that the walk from the theme park to any of these Resort hotels will likely take about 15-20 minutes. You could also ride on a FriendShip (boat transportation) to any of these in about 30-35 minutes.

If you would rather arrive by sky, then the closest Walt Disney World Resort hotel by Disney Skyliner is Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This is a beautiful ride in an Aerial Gondola that takes about 5-minutes, but there can be a longer wait to board. We hardly wait at all during the day, but can anticipate 15-20 minutes at theme park closing time.

I just know you are going to have the best vacation, Iris. Thank you for letting us play a tiny part in the planning. Please let us know what other questions you have!

    With many magical memories,
