    Where is the closest grocery store? We are staying at the Wilderness Villas and would like to be able to have some meals in our villa.

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! One of the reasons we love staying at Disney’s Deluxe Villa accommodations is that we can save money by enjoying some of our meals in our room. We eat breakfast each day, and often at least one other meal per day in our villa. As a family of six, this adds up to a big savings for us.

    Since my family usually flies to Orlando, we actually use GardenGrocer.com to have our food items delivered to our resort. They are usually delivered a few hours before our arrival, and Bell Services at the resort will keep our items cold until our arrival. This also saves me from having to go grocery shopping during my vacation. We have had a great experience with GardenGrocer.com and I would highly recommend them.

    I did ask a few of my fellow Moms Panel friends to recommend a grocery store should you prefer to shop for yourself. They recommend the Publix in Regency Village Plaza on Vineland Avenue. It is located about 20 minutes from Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and according to Moms Panelist Kathy, they have awesome baked goods and deli sandwiches.
