how close is the polynesian resort to the Ticket and Transportation center, can we walk to and from, or do we need to take the MK monorail?

Hi, William! It is very easy to walk to the Ticket and Transportation Center from the Polynesian Resort.  In fact, my family and I routinely do this, especially when going to Epcot.  You can skip the whole first leg of the Monorail journey and avoid transferring from one to another.  We just walk to the Ticket and Transportation Center and hop on the Epcot Monorail line.  It's terrific! Thanks for your question! Have a Magical vacation!
