Ahoy, Jennifer!
We are so happy you cruised by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! It sounds like you must be thinking of booking a last-minute cruise. I love the idea of being spontaneous and having a VERY short countdown to a
magical voyage with Disney Cruise Line.
Jennifer, if there is availability on the ship you're interested in, you can reserve a
stateroom up to one day before departure. Once a sailing is within three days,
all bookings must be made with a reservation agent by calling (800) 951-3532. I think it is important to know that although Disney Cruise Line strongly recommends a valid passport when sailing on a closed-loop cruise (departing and returning to the same US port), a government-issued photo ID and a state-issued birth certificate are acceptable. I highly recommend reading over the
Passports, Visas, and Citizenship Documentation, so you are fully prepared for check-in at your departure port.
Once you are booked on a sailing, you'll want to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before you leave. Everything you will need to know will be accessible from the app on your mobile device. It's free and can be used while on the DCL Guest Wi-Fi. New features to use before you cruise include online check-in, booking onboard activities, making special requests, and much more! You'll also love the countdown feature, especially if you do decide to book last-minute!
Thank you for coming by to "sea" us, Jennifer! I hope you'll be sailing into the sunset aboard Disney Cruise Line real soon!
Nancy
