Hi there, Jod,
I have a large family too. So it is sometimes a fun puzzle to find a way to get us all to fit. The vast majority of rooms at the
Disneyland Resort Hotels sleep no more than five Guests. So we have found that we either need to book two separate rooms and request that they be connecting or book a larger suite. (Note that requests for connecting rooms are not guaranteed.) With a very limited number of suites available, they can often be hard to find, depending on the dates selected. Since we prefer to have everyone in the same room and suites aren’t always as available or as economical as our budget allows, we have usually opted to book a room in a
Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor Hotel.
Tony’s Tip: When choosing a Good Neighbor Hotel, I highly recommend finding accommodations that are within close walking distance of the Disneyland Resort. Especially with very young children, it is very desirable to have convenient access to return to the hotel during the day for a brief nap or a refreshing swim to rest and recharge before returning to the theme parks in the evening. Here is a link to some of my family’s
favorite Good Neighbor Hotels that have rooms that sleep at least six Guests. Checking with each hotel individually may be needed to verify if adding an infant to the party is OK as well.
I hope that offers some ideas for how to help make a magical vacation package for your client, Jod. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
