    To clarify r u saying only $50 a day? That doesn't seem right. Just want to clarify.....I know u stated an extra 100 for little gifts....toys etc.

    Peggy,

    I took out my bills from the last two trips, and that is what it worked out to. Now remember this;

    1. Being frequent visitors to Walt Disney World, we don't get a lot of souvenirs any more. We have enough mouse-themed stuff already!
    2. That does NOT include any alcoholic beverages, which can raise the cost quickly.
    3. The $50 per day is for expenditures AFTER meals. When we are at the pool we are just drinking sodas with our Refillable Resort Mugs.
    4. My 4 and 6 year old girls do not eat very much (unlike their father). So we are able to keep it to 1 treat per day.
    I will say this. My estimate might be conservative. If you can budget more, then do so. Anything you come home with will feel like a lottery win!

    Oh, and as for the $100 merchandise estimate, we give our girls each a coupon. They are allowed to 'redeem' their coupon for one toy or T-shirt of their choice. This makes it fun for them to figure out what to get. They are not allowed to pick until day 3 of our trip, so that there is no regret of decisions made on that first day!

    Feel free to write me back again if you have more questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
