Ahoy, Simon. Welcome to
planDisney. I’m excited to hear you have a sailing scheduled on the
Disney Treasure. It’s one of my favorite ships to sail - you’re going to have a great time!
While there are no lounges to enjoy a cigar, there are plenty of
designated smoking areas on the Treasure. Those locations are Deck 14 on the forward port side, Deck 14 on the aft port side (this area is accessible through Cove Bar on Deck 13, aft, starboard side), or Deck 4 on the aft port side. These areas are available any time of day. The area near the
Cove Bar sounds especially enticing if you want to enjoy a beverage to accompany your cigar.
I do want to point out that Disney Cruise Line takes these designated areas very seriously. Any guest found smoking in their stateroom, their verandah, or outside the designated smoking area will be assessed a hefty fine.
I’ve heard from some of my planDisney pals that you can purchase cigars at various places on the Treasure. I’d check to see if Cove Cafe or The Rose is selling cigars when you’re aboard.
Hook’s Barbery may also have cigars on hand. You can also ask any of the friendly crew members which locations sell cigars onboard. Also, did you know you are allowed to bring back up to 100 cigars from port stops?
Simon, you’re in for a treat because the various bars and lounges are next level on the Treasure. The
Haunted Mansion Parlour is one of the spookiest themings for a bar I’ve ever seen.
The Scat Cat Lounge serves high-quality cocktails and has live music at various times throughout your voyage.
The Rose is the lounge right outside
Palo, so arrive a little early to your reservation and enjoy a drink in this beautiful space. There are so many great places to explore!
I hope your trip aboard the Treasure is a magical one. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to come right back to
planDisney. We’re ready to help you plan the trip of your dreams!
I hope you have a magical day.
Corey
