Hello Emmanuel!
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a holiday favorite of many Disney fans. With its soaring lobby and rustic charm, it’s the perfect setting for a classic Christmas! The Christmas Tree alone is worth a visit, with thousands of lights, and intricate decorations, it truly feels like a snowy northern Christmas, even in sunny Florida.
The schedule for holiday decorations is not something Disney makes public and it varies from year to year. It is my understanding that each resort is decorated one night at a time, and that the order in which the resorts are done varies from year to year based on a lottery system. Because of this, there is no way to know exactly when the decorations will appear. Typically, Guests will go to bed one night and when they wake up in the morning, Christmas has arrived!
While there is no set date, typically the resort transformations take place between the second week of November and the Thanksgiving holiday. If you will be visiting for Thanksgiving or later, the decorations will likely be up. The lobby makes the perfect location for that family photo to put on your Christmas card, so pack accordingly! You should also be able to anticipate
the holidays to arrive at Magic Kingdom during the first week or second week of November, so if you are traveling earlier, you can still find the Christmas spirit alive and well on Main Street, U.S.A.
I hope this helps with your planning, Emmanuel.
Happy Holidays!
