What all is there to do at the Christmas party? Can you ride the normal rides and is any food included?

    Holiday Greetings, Kimberly!

With your jolly visit to the Walt Disney World Resort only about two months away, you'll be celebrating the season at "The Merriest Place on Earth" before you know it! I love visiting this time of yEAR because of ALL the holiday fun available around the parks and resorts

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom is always a must-do when my family vacations near the holidays, Kimberly. My daughter celebrated turning16 on Main Street, U.S.A. the last time we attended this festive event, and a PhotoPass Photographer was there to document this sweet moment as the snow twinkled down on her. So, I highly recommend taking advantage of all the holiday-themed photo opportunities available during the evening. You'll also find unique Disney Character meet-and-greets, including some of your favorites in adorable holiday attire and a chance to visit with Santa Claus! The night will be filled with shows and dance parties and two opportunities to see the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. You also don't want to miss the all-new Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show that will light up the sky around Cinderella Castle! Many attractions will be open, and we've always found shorter lines than during regular park hours. In the past, party Guests have been granted entry at 4:00 p.m. with the park closing for regular Guests at 6:00 p.m. The official party hours run from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Kimberly, no holiday party is complete without some delicious treats to enjoy, so you'll find complimentary goodies throughout the park. The last time I attended, there were a variety of cookies, soft pretzels, sno-cones, hot cocoa, egg nog, and apple cider available along with some allergy-free options. Specialty snacks and treats only available for purchase at the party will also be offered!

I hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect when you attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this season. Most dates offer a $10.00 savings (always subject to change) if you purchase tickets in advance. If you have any other questions about your visit, please let us know!
