Hello Christine! Your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is coming up so soon, how exciting!
There isn't an official holiday party at the Disneyland Resort, but there are plenty of ways to get into the holiday spirit and celebrate the holidays!
The entertainment offerings are spectacular, whether it's
A Christmas Fantasy Parade led by our favorite Disney pals and the prancing reindeer in Disneyland Park, or
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular to end your evening. As you enjoy this magical show, you'll experience a wintry "snowfall!"
I also love that some of our favorite attractions have received special holiday overlays, such as
"it's a small world" Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday. I love to experience both of these since you're only able to during holiday time! They are both whimsical in their own way, and I also recommend trying to catch the
"it's a small world" Holiday Lighting that takes place each night when the beautiful facade will light up with all of the twinkling lights! You can check the
entertainment schedule for times it will take place during your trip.
Finally, I love to try all of the seasonal bites and treats! You're able to sample foods from holidays celebrated around the world at the
Disney Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure Park, or visit one of your favorite quick service locations such as
Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe to warm up with their Jolly Holiday Combo, or the famous Mickey gingerbread cookie! The
Disney Parks Blog will also be a great resource for all of the wonderful ways to celebrate the holiday season during your trip.
I'm wishing you and your family a very merry trip, Christine! If we can help with any other questions, please
come back to planDisney!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
