Hi there, Brian, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you’re here with this great question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! It will be here before you know it! Have you started packing your suitcases yet?
Brian, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the Florida weather in November. It’s such a great time of year to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth because it’s typically cool enough in the mornings to wear a light jacket or sweatshirt, and warm enough in the afternoons to be able to sit by the pool at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. I recommend bringing light layers, especially if you’re planning to arrive at the Disney Theme Parks early and stay all day. While November isn’t typically the rainiest month in Florida, I still recommend packing a rain jacket or poncho to have on hand just in case. Hakuna matata - if you happen to need different types of clothing than you packed, the gift shop at Animal Kingdom Lodge is fantastic and has all of the essentials. If you find that you need more, head over to
Disney Springs, where you can shop til you drop!
You're going to love staying at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge! This resort is home to some of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World Resort.
Boma - Flavors of Africa is a must-visit, whether for breakfast or dinner. Hop on the shuttle and head next door to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to dine at
Sanaa, where you'll be treated to African and Indian-inspired flavors. Be sure to order the Indian-Style Bread Service and the Lamb Kefta!
Brian, I hope you have the very best time during your vacation! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you count down to your arrival!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
