    When is the 2012 christmas parade taping? Do we need special tickets?

    Hi Mike,

    The exact date of the 2012 Christmas parade taping has not yet been announced. Typically this will happen on the first or second weekend of December. 

    The procedure has varied from year to year. Sometimes there are no tickets required. Sometimes annual pass holders, cast member families, or other special groups will have the ability to get tickets to be closer to the performers. Again, none of this has been announced yet for 2012. 

    My suggestion is that you subscribe to the newsletter of one of the larger independent Disney-related websites. They will typically report on parade taping news as soon as it becomes available, usually in the late fall. Allears.net has a worthwhile newsletter.
