We're going on a Christmas Disney Cruise, but I will have a one year old. The info from the Disney people contradicts what I'm hearing/reading..... WIll I only be able to get 10 hours of nursery time for my one year old or is there more time available?

Welcome aboard, Jennifer! A cruise with Disney is always an amazing vacation, but cruising at Christmastime on one of the Very Merrytime Cruises will offer so much more magic for your family! I'm sure you are already counting down the days!

I spoke with an agent at Disney Cruise Line this morning to confirm the specifics of pre-booking nursery time. Currently, the following amounts of hours can be pre-booked online before you board the ship:

Cruises of 2-5 nights: 10 hours
Cruises of 6 nights: 15 hours
Cruises of 7-8 nights: 18 hours
Cruises of 9-12 nights: 28 hours
Cruises of 14 nights or longer: 35 hours

Since I see that you're setting sail on December 21, you must either be on the Wonder's 6-night sailing or the Fantasy's 7 night sailing, so you'll be able to pre-book up to either 15 or 18 hours of nursery time.

Once onboard the ship, if there are still times available, the Cast Members in the nursery are happy to help you book additional nursery time for your little one, over and above what you were able to book online pre-cruise. But, again, that is all dependent on availability.

While your little one is enjoying the fun in the nursery, I do hope that you'll be able to take advantage of a romantic dinner out with your husband at one of the Adult Exclusive restaurants, Palo or Remy! Palo is my favorite, so if you do dine there, try their famous chocolate souffle! You will not regret it! In fact, save me a bite!

Have fun as you continue to plan, Jennifer, and please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
