Are all of the Christmas Decorations and Special Shows, parades, etc. up and running by Thanksgiving?

    Hi Peggy,

One of my absolutely favorite things about Disney is that they are traditionalists. This is especially true of Christmas festivities!

Without dating myself, I truly remember when nothing was up for Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving because Santa made his appearance at the Thanksgiving parade. It was such a magical treat.

Magic Kingdom is the last park to be decorated and all of the shows and festivities will be in full swing. You will find the resorts and other parks decorated prior but it is a gradual phase in of decorations. In addition, you may see a few Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
