    When do the Christmas decorations in magic kingdom begin to be taken down?

    How exciting you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in early January. This is a "practically perfect" way to welcome in the new year.  It's not long now until you'll be at the place where laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever. I'm sure the anticipation is building each moment.

    Stephanie, according to the Walt Disney World Resort website, the 2023 Holiday season runs from November 11 through December 31. In previous years, Disney has started taking Christmas decorations down during the first week of January. Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is happening January 3-7, 2024. The Christmas decorations are usually down before the runDisney folks jog into town. If you want to see the decorations, that's probably not the answer you were hoping to hear, Stephanie. Hopefully, you'll be able to visit a bit earlier next time and enjoy the Christmas décor. I guess this gives you another excuse to plan another trip!
