Welcome to planDisney, Jesselle!
I stayed at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort for one night earlier this year. My family adored the Toy Story buildings. There's something very magical about walking through Andy's giant bedroom door and seeing the larger-than-life Buzz Lightyear and Woody. My son was particularly impressed by the huge RC Car! I think he would have slept in that thing if I had let him.
The
Fantasia Pool is great fun too! It's nice and big and the jets of water sent from Sorcerer Mickey add a touch of magic. Jesselle, you'll be pleased to hear that the Fantasia Pool is scheduled to be closed for routine maintenance from January 2025 through April 2025. Therefore, it will be open for your trip in 2024. I hope that comes as a relief. Disney likes to give their Guests plenty of notice before they close pools at the hotels.
For future reference, whenever Disney closes a pool, they always make sure that Guests have access to another pool. For example, when the Fantasia Pool does close, Guests will be welcome to swim in the Duck Pond Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.
I hope that's helpful, Jesselle. Have a wonderful trip!
Mike
