    When do the christmas decorations go up at MK? I want to plan a trip for early November, but want to make sure the Christmas decorations and parade are going on.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's always great to assist a fellow Georgian. Magic Kingdom Park is magically transformed for the Christmas season after the last Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held and prior to the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in November. Last year, the last Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was held on October 31, 2016 and the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was held on November 7, 2016.  If you are hoping to see Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, you will want to purchase tickets to this popular special event as it is only offered during the party in November.  Unfortunately, the 2017 dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party have not been announced at this time.  That being said, I recommend periodically checking the Disney Parks Blog for any new information regarding the 2017 dates so that you can plan accordingly.
