How much Christmas decoration will there be in the first week of November please? Also I see there are no sheduled events such as Mickeys very merry Christmas party that week. Does that mean it’s Happy ever after fireworks each night please?

    Hi Jane!

Welcome to planDisney! The holidays are my favorite time of the year to visit Disney World, and it sounds like you get to be there for both Halloween and Christmas! How exciting!

You’ll notice the changes from fall decor to holiday decor right after Halloween is over, especially at Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom often starts decorating for the holidays as soon as the last Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ends. So, if you’re hoping to see the holiday decorations during that first week, I’d prioritize visiting Magic Kingdom.

Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom start decorating next, as the official holiday season begins on November 14 this year. And Epcot will likely be the last to decorate. Epcot usually waits until the Food & Wine Festival is over before fully decorating for the Festival of the Holidays

As far as holiday parties go, you’re right! There are no parties scheduled between the last night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on October 31, 2025, and the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on November 7, 2025. Because of that, I’d expect the normal nighttime entertainment to take place at Magic Kingdom; however, it’s always subject to change.

The Hours & Events Calendar currently shows that Happily Ever After will be shown at 9:00 PM during the first week of November. The Starlight Parade times have not been shared yet, but I’d check back in the coming days for any updates.

I hope that helps! Have the most magical vacation!
