Christmas Day in Disney World @CBR. My daughter is very worried about Santa. I thought about ordering from Amazon and having a gift sent. Can I request they deliver it to my room on a certain day? Are there better options?

Hi, Rebecca!  We are at Walt Disney World on Christmas almost every year, and this is something I've had to deal with for each of my girls.  My current plan of attack is to just pick up a few trinkets here and there as we wander the parks in the days before Christmas.  I write a letter before I leave home from "Santa" that says something like, "Dear G, E, and B:  I heard you would be traveling this year and having a magical time with Mickey Mouse!  I wanted you to know that I didn't forget you, so I'm leaving you a few little things, but the rest of your gifts will be delivered to your house!"

If I have time, I put the gifts out before I leave, but most of the time, we leave milk and cookies out for Santa the night we return home, and he comes while the kids are sleeping.  It really stretches out the holidays for my girls!

You can have something delivered to your resort from Amazon or another location, and they may be able to hold it until you want it put in your room, but to be safe, pop into the room before your daughter.

Another option we've used is to have Santa come before we leave home.  I have picked the weekend before we leave as our "Christmas", and again have Santa write a note explaining his special accommodation due to our vacation.  I found, though, I like to do it when we get home, so the kids don't have to leave their gifts behind as we pack up for vacation.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation and a Merry Christmas in Walt Disney World!
