If choosing between the two, is Mickey's Backyard BBQ or Chef Mickey's a better character meal? Also, is the Not-so-spooky Halloween party good?

Hi, Ashley!  Mickey's Backyard BBQ is great fun, and the kids get to dance and have a great time.  For my family, though, we prefer Chef Mickey's.  I like the fact that it is easy to get to from either the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, the buffet is varied and very good, and we have always had great character interaction here.

As for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party, it's a must do for my family.  We love it so much that I'm actually doing it twice this year - once with some of the other moms on the panel, and the second time with all three of my girls and two of my nephews.  The party ticket gets you in at 4 o'clock, and everyone - grown ups, too! - gets a trick or treat bag.  The crowds are usually lighter than you might encounter during the day, the candy is yummy, and we love the Halloween parade.  The party goes until midnight, so you really get the equivalent to a full day at the park!

    Have a great trip!
