If I choose to purchase magic bands from the Disney store site instead of them sending me the plain magic bands, how do I linked them up with my ticket or reservation?

    Hi Amy,
Thanks for coming here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. You're asking about MagicBands and I've got to tell you, I absolutely love them. They make life at the Walt Disney World Resort so hands-free and easy.

Do you have a My Disney Experience account? If not, rush over there right now and sign up. I'll wait.

All good? Alrighty then! Let's get on with the show!

I love using the My Disney Experience Mobile App to link new MagicBands, make Advance Dining Reservations, check wait times for attractions and so much more.  While in the app, select the hamburger menu at the bottom right side of the screen; scroll down past the boxes and select My Profile.  When the next menu opens, select MagicBands & Cards; one of the buttons now available should be Link a MagicBand or Card.  From there, enter the ID on the MagicBand into My Disney Experience and the rest is a breeze!

I'll give you fair warning that the Walt Disney World Resort seems to be chock full of new MagicBands that are just like the Grim Grinning Ghosts-dying for me to bring them home! So many colors, characters, events, parks, celebrations to choose from, so don't say I didn't warn you. They're addictive and so much fun!

Amy, I hope you have a magical vacation. Please come and visit us again with any additional questions you may have for your upcoming trip.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
