Hi!! So if any of you could choose between May 9-13 2016 or December 5-11 2016, which would you choose, keeping in mind crowd levels and best deals as the priority?

Hi, Denise!  You've chosen two of the very best weeks to consider going to Walt Disney World.  Typically, there are lower than average crowds during both of those weeks, and prices are both going to be some of the lowest you'll find all year at Walt Disney World resorts.

So now, how do you decide?

A big consideration for me would be weather.  May is really the start of summer in the Orlando area, and you'll see temperatures that could soar into the upper 80s or low 90s.  Humidity also begins to rise right around then, so you might see a daily shower in the afternoon (although these are usually fast moving storms, so they shouldn't negatively impact your vacation).  If you're all about those summer breezes and warm evenings, then May might be for you.

In December, temperatures may climb to the low to mid 70s, and you'll definitely find the humidity has dropped.  I know for us northern folks, we still hit the pools, which are all heated, but for those people traveling from warmer climates, it might be too chilly to hit the pool.

I love December for the incredible Christmas decorations and the amazing holiday offerings.  I would choose December every time if presented with the option between the two months.  I think you have to decide if temperatures are going to be a factor first, and then think about if you'll take advantage of some of the holiday festivities.  I really believe it is the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World.

I hope you are happy whenever you choose!
