Choices of rooms polynesian village resort balcony, ground floor, aotearoa building

    Dear Dolores,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about choosing the perfect room at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort!

My family stayed at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort last summer, and we were in the Aotearoa building. It was absolutely lovely! I loved the peace and quiet of that building's location, and the neat view of the monorail gliding by our window. I personally prefer an upper floor with a balcony, but many people prefer a ground floor for ease of access, so you may want to choose that instead based on your own preferences. If your family likes to be close to the pool and laundry, then you may want to choose a different room location, since Aotearoa is farther from both of those than some other buildings.

As with all room requests, your preferences are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotel, though, and I will tell you that you are going to have an absolutely beautiful hotel room no matter which building you end up in.

Moms Panel tip: Be sure to have a DOLE WHIP Soft-Serve Swirl for me at the Pineapple Lanai!

    Have a magical vacation!
