Hey there, Adriana! Thanks for sending your question to us at planDisney!
I've spent some time digging into this question to help equip you with all the information you'll need to make a decision regarding the water parks! I've been informed that both
Disney's Blizzard Beach and
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park use bromine to clean the water. The same is true of all water-based rides in the parks, like
Splash Mountain and
Frozen Ever After, as well as most
Disney Resort Hotel pools. While still a chemical treatment, it may not invoke the same reaction as chlorine. Of course, you would know best how your skin may react.
Adriana, planDisney alum, Brenda, did share some
other helpful information regarding two pools located within Disney Resort Hotels that use a saltwater filtration system. Brenda explains that the saltwater filtration system chlorinates the water more naturally. If this may be a safer option for you, keep
Disney's Yacht Club Resort,
Disney's Beach Club Resort or
Disney's Art of Animation Resort in mind for your next stay! If the ocean calls you like (or in this case, the pool), you may be able to splash around in these amazing pools!
I hope this helps guide you in your planning process, Adriana.
Have a magical day,
Ashley
