Hello, after the Chip N Dale sing-a-long, if we were to take the internal bus first (what is that by the way?) then the regular bus to Downtown Disney, how late are the boats running to get back to POR? I just want to make sure I know what I am doing!

    Kristin,

First, to your question about the internal buses at Fort Wilderness. The buses that come from a destination like a theme park do not drive around the Fort Wilderness area. They drop everyone off at the park entry at the southernmost part of the resort. From there they have 3 different internal bus 'routes' that take you from the entrance along three different routes that reach all the different cabin and campground areas, all ending up at the northernmost point of the resort where the boat launch to the Magic Kingdom can be found, along with the major restaurants and many of the resort amenities.

As for the boat service from Downtown Disney to Port Orleans, they typically run every 20 minutes from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm. From 4:30 pm until 11:00 pm they actually run more like every 10 minutes. And if you miss the boats after 11 pm, you can still take the resort bus, which typically will run as late as 2 pm. But check all these times with your resort transportation desk to be sure. They change seasonally, so it is always good to be 100% sure!

I hope that this helps? Write me back from my bio page if I can help further!

    Have a magical vacation!
