Do children’s world key allow them to charge things in a Disney cruise?

    Welcome aboard, Jonathan!

I'm laughing because I had the same question the first time we set sail with Disney Cruise Line! Will my kids be buying rounds of smoothies for all of their new friends that they meet in the Youth Clubs and the pool and be charging them to our stateroom? Oh no! Thankfully, Disney has us covered. Parents can choose which members of their party are allowed to have charging privileges with their Key To the World Cards onboard. You'll have the option to do this during your online check-in. I always choose just myself and my husband. The kids know that if they want something extra, they can chat with us about it and we'll go with them to make that purchase.

There are all sorts of fun items to buy in the gift shops onboard the ships, and of course, the tasty concoctions that the kids have their eyes on at Frozone Treats! On the Dream, they're literally kids in a candy store at Vanellope's Sweets and Treats, so thankfully, they can't just charge away, purchasing whatever they'd like! We certainly allow them some fun purchases, but I like to be around when that happens! However, if you have older kids and teens for whom you'd like to allow charging privileges, you can certainly do that. If you change your mind one way or the other halfway into the sailing, simply swing by Guest Services to adjust the privileges and you'll be all set, Jonathan!

Have fun planning this exciting voyage!
