On the childrens menus at some resturants they offer Macaroni & Cheese. What is it like? I have a son that is Autistic and a very picky eater.

Hi Kim! I have some picky eaters in my household too, so I definitely understand. My daughter tends to order macaroni and cheese anytime she spots it on a children's menu, and I have to admit I can't walk by the children's section of the Disney buffets without spooning mac & cheese on my plate either. I would liken most of the kids' macaroni and cheese at Disney World to the Stouffer's brand. The noodles are large and soft and the cheese sauce is orange and creamy. My daughter is a big fan of the Kraft variety, but she really enjoys the macaroni at the Disney restaurants.

The table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World are very accommodating of picky eaters. My son has a fairly limited diet, and we've found that many restaurants could serve his meal of choice (a grilled cheese sandwich) upon request, even if it wasn't on the menu. Likewise, foods can be prepared without sauces or without certain ingredients, so if your son likes his macaroni a certain way, don't hesitate to ask if they can prepare it that way.

If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to ask me or my Moms Panel friends! We'd love to help!
