Welcome aboard, Tami! Your children sound just like mine: avid readers! That is so wonderful! To be able to sneak away to another land of adventure through a book is such a special thing! I think our Disney friend, Belle, would agree too, don't you?
There is no library for children onboard the
Disney Fantasy. Honestly, my kids bring books with them onboard too, but rarely have time to read because there are so many fabulous activities and events going on for the kids and for the whole family when we sail. They don't want to miss out on the fun they can only enjoy at sea with Disney, so they save their books for the trip to and from the cruise, and the books tend to stay in their backpacks when we're onboard.
If you think your kiddos may want some books just in case, bring them along yourself, or load up their Kindle or other mobile reading device. While you're doing that, be sure to download to your own mobile devices the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. This is the onboard schedule of events and activities for each day onboard, plus it has a texting feature between other users of the app, so you and your family can keep in touch by text no matter where you are on the ship!
Until you set sail, check out the
Youth Clubs, so your kids can get a glimpse of the magic that awaits them, and check out the other exciting
entertainment that you can expect while you're on the Disney Fantasy! Believe me, you will have plenty to keep your family busy!
I hope those details help as you get ready to set sail, Tami! Have a Fantastic cruise!
