Ahoy, Sophia!
Welcome back with another excellent question about the phenomenal youth spaces aboard Disney Cruise Line! Remember when I mentioned the flexibility and ease of the
youth programming? It applies to this question too. Another reason my kids loved hanging out in the club and lab is because they always had a choice on what to do when checked in for secured programming. If your Mouseketeers don't want to participate in the main activity, they can choose to do something else! I asked my sailors what kind of other activities they have experienced in the past, and they rattled off a list that included arts and crafts, dress-up, movies, video games, board games, computer or iPad time and playing games with the counselors. My daughter recalled when a counselor hid stars for them to find in one of the themed area like an egg hunt!
Since the club and lab are connected, your sailors can move back and forth as long as both are open for secured programming. The options are endless, and there is really something for kids with all different interests! I suggest looking over the Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, each night as a family so you can plan out the following day. I like to bring a few different colored highlighters to mark those "must do" activities so we don't forget!
I hope I've helped you understand the youth programming a little bit better, Sophia. We hope you'll cruise back over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need further assistance with your magical plans!
