Where can children nap if necessary?

Hey David and thanks for the great question.  When your little one decides to call a time out for a quick nap, you have a few options.  You can head back to the room and let them sleep.  If you do not have a HP option, make sure you get your hand stamped so that you can return to that same park later in the day.
There are also baby stations where you can go and feed a little one and clean them up.  It may not be the quietest place around, but it's cool and they might be able to catch a nap on your shoulder.
To be honest, mine have always slept in the stroller and we have just kept going.  Sitting in a few shows, especially ones that are air conditioned, are nice and sometimes even a cool, shady spot have been the location mine have slept.
Hope these suggestions help and that you all have a magical WDW vacation.
